Huawei introduces its new flagship smartwatch, the Watch GT 2 Pro, which the company boasts as the “most ambitious representative of the Watch GT series.”

Made with high-grade materials, this wearable offers a wide array of health and fitness tracking. And it goes the extra mile too, promising up to two weeks of battery life on a single charge.

And from November 20 to 26, for the first week of nationwide sales at its brick-and-mortar stores, Huawei will give a free Huawei Band 4e worth PHP 1,390 for every purchase.

The Watch GT 2 Pro will be available for up to 24-month installment with major banks (RCBC, Metrobank, Philippine National Bank, Citibank, Security Bank, EastWest Bank, BPI, and BDO) and up to 18 months with Home Credit.

PREMIUM BUILD, MAXIMUM CUSTOMIZABILITY

The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro is more understated than flashy. The Chinese tech maker keeps the design clean but uses top-end materials like a titanium body, ceramic rear case, and sapphire glass. It’s available in Night Black with a black fluoroelastomer strap.

These durable materials are designed to make this smartwatch shock- and water-resistant, skin-friendly, and better at monitoring your vitals.

To make it your own, Huawei offers over 200 watch faces to choose from to show off on the 1.39″ AMOLED touchscreen. Plus, the Watch GT 2 Pro supports Huawei Share OneHop, which lets you tap the smartwatch to a compatible smartphone so you can transfer photos from your phone to the watch. The watch faces are also customizable with different layouts to show information like tide times, moon phases, and constellations.

TRACK YOUR HEALTH

The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro measures the standard health metrics that we expect smartwatches to track, including heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, sleep quality, and stress level.

With its improved TruSeen 4.0+ heart rate monitoring tech, 6-in-1 LED lens, and sapphire glass back, it achieves more accurate readings. The Watch GT 2 Pro also supports real-time heart rate monitoring while running, swimming, or practicing other sports. It can inform you of your real-time heart rate, workout heart rate, high heart rate alert, highest oxygen uptake, recovery time, and more.

Like other Huawei smartwatches, it tracks an impressive 100+ sports modes, including everything from extreme sports, leisure activities, water sports, ball games, and snow sports. On top of that, it has automatic workout detection for six workout modes. It can help you break down your workout information and advise on when to work out next.

For runners or wannabe-runners, the Watch GT 2 Pro also has 10 scientifically-designed, professional running courses.

Those who love going on adventures in the great outdoors can get information like tide times and the sunrise and sunset. It makes it easier to get around with its built-in GPS tracker.

And it can keep up with you as it promises up to two weeks of battery life. Of course, that’s reliant on how often you use the Watch GT 2 Pro’s features. But Huawei smartwatches tend to be battery efficient. This smartwatch supports wireless charging for those who prefer this charging option.

At first glance, the Watch GT 2 Pro already promises many features we can get excited over. We can’t wait to get some hands-on time with this wearable.
