While Poco has unveiled two smartphones for the global market in less than six months, the manufacturer has released yet a new device. But this time, Poco returns with a truly entry-level model: the Poco M3, and it is even cheaper than the Poco X3 NFC, whose price tag and specs sheet made it more of a mid-range model.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 was made official at a very aggressive price. It highlights its large 6000 mAh battery for a better endurance. Here is everything you need to know about this smartphone.
GREAT AUTONOMY
As we know, the Poco sub-brand has always put forward the performances to attract the gaming community. The Poco M3 is however more modest in terms of specifications when compared to the Poco F2 Pro or even the Poco X3 released this year. This is explained by an even more aggressive price positioning.

The brand promises additional days of battery life in light use and barely 3 days in moderate use. Otherwise, if used extensively, the Poco M3 would take 1.5 days to drop to 0% according to Xiaomi press release.
Note also that the Poco M3 comes with a 22.5 W charger, however the phone only supports 18W fast charging.
A REAR PANEL THAT SURPRISES
The new Poco M3 offers a rather particular design. If the front face is fairly standard with a 6.53-inch Full HD display (19.5:9 aspect ratio) protected by Gorilla Glass and marked by a thin notch on the top, the rear part is more atypical.
The back is in fact marked with a large black rectangle on the upper part. Within it, we can see the triple photo module and the “Poco” logo conspicuously written in capital letters, a design that reminds us of the OnePlus 8T CyberPunk 2077 Edition.

Xiaomi also drew attention to the “textured” back cover for a better grip as well as to avoid unsightly fingerprints. Note also that despite its massive battery, the Poco M3 weighs only 198 grams.
MODEST SPECS
Inside the Poco M3, a we find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662. This is a fairly capable mid-range Qualcomm chip, but it does not pass the 5G mark to remain attractive in terms of price. The SoC is here associated with 4GB of RAM, an Adreno 610 GPU and 64/128GB of internal storage.
The back features a 48-megapixel main photo sensor, along with two other sensors of 2 megapixels each for macro and depth management. On the front, the selfie camera benefits from a definition of 8 megapixels.
Moreover, the phone comes with a fingerprint reader on the side, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm jack and two stereo speakers.
PRICE AND AVAILABILITY OF THE XIAOMI POCO M3
The POCO M3 will be available globally starting November 27th. As for the prices, count $149 for the 4GB+64GB version and $169 for 4GB+128GB.
However, a pre-order offer for “early birds” momentarily drops these prices to $129 and $149.90 respectively.
