While we are being encouraged to stay at home, it can be suffocating to be cooped up indoors. If you have the means and space for it, you might have a backyard you can enjoy. Why not bring your television viewing outside, too? Samsung’s The Terrace TV allows for this as the brand’s first outdoor 4K QLED television.
Launched earlier in the year internationally, the Terrace is now in the Philippines, too. It joins the company’s other lifestyle TVs, like the rotating The Sero and the sleek The Frame. It also comes with a weather-proof soundbar.
While our temperatures won’t reach such extremes, it can withstand temperatures between -30 and +50 degrees Celsius. It also has an IP55 water-resistance rating.

The Terrace’s QLED 4K panel achieves an average brightness of 2,000 nits and peak brightness levels of 4,000 nits, so you can see better when it’s bright out. It adapts to the changing lighting conditions with the help of Adaptive Picture Technology and an anti-glare screen.
Of course, it’s also a smart TV, so you can use The Terrace to access your favorite entertainment apps—some come pre-installed, like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
The Terrace Soundbar promises to offer optimized audio for different kinds of content, thanks to the help of its Adaptive Sound feature. Its WideSound Coverage feature claims surround-sound capability, filling up an open space with its 210W powerful sound.
