Huawei brings us, yet again, another pretty and power-packed contender in the mid-range game. Meet the Huawei Y7a.

With a price tag starting at PHP 8,999, let’s see what this phone has to offer.
Up front, that 6.67-inch IPS LCD display features a selfie punch hole up front. The phone features a stylish gradient back that’s a subtle silver with shades on peach and pink – a perfect understated statement for those who love color on their phones.

On the side we find the volume rockers plus a side mounted fingerprint scanner.

On the left side, the SIM tray. This phone has dual-sim capabilities and a micro-SD card slot. Note the subtle curves on the back of the phone – the better to hold it with teeny hands like mine!

At the bottom, we have a USB-C port, some speaker grills, and an audio jack!

Up front, we have the 8-megapixel camera…

On the back, that quad camera setup: A 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel wide, a 2-megapixel macro, and a 2-megapixel depth camera.

This thing runs on a Kirin 710A processor with 4GB RAM and an option of 64GB or 128GB of storage on EMUI 10.1 – that makes for smooth performance for everyday use. Take note, though, that this runs on Huawei Mobile Services.
