ASUS has a coffee cup-sized ZenBeam Latte projector

Maybe you have dreams of owning a projector but don’t have space or budget for it. Or perhaps you just want a cute accessory to have around. ASUS has a solution for you. The new ASUS ZenBeam Latte L1 is a coffee cup-sized projector that also does double duty as a Bluetooth speaker.

The Latte would be perfect for those who live in small apartments or dorm rooms and want a way to project their favorite content on a blank wall.

It’s definitely a cute projector (Source: ASUS)

ASUS packs in modest specs into the Latte, with a projection range of 40 to 120 inches and 300 lumens of LED brightness. It won’t be to handle binge-watching as it only has three-hour battery life, which should be enough for a couple of movies at most (unless you’re watching The Lord of the Rings). According to the Taiwanese company, it’s more of a “homey” alternative to the larger home projectors.

It comes with a built-in Aptoide TV store to give you access to streaming apps like YouTube. And it can wirelessly mirror your smartphone, too, so you can access your streaming apps or whatever content you want to stream from your phone.

The fabric-covered projector also works as a Bluetooth speaker, with its Harman Kardon 10W speaker. It promises decent 12-hour battery life for audio listening. And it has three audio modes: Gaming, Movie, and Music.

ASUS hasn’t released its price yet, but the company plans to release it in North America in the second quarter of 2021.
