If you want a spa-like experience at home, you don’t have to look too far, but you’ll surely have to spend on it. Kohler, known for its luxury bathroom and designer kitchen fixtures, debuted a new smart bathtub at CES 2021 that’s inspired by shinrin-yoku or Japanese forest bathing. The company designed this tub to help “relax the mind, soothe the body, and renew the spirit.”
The top-tier of this tub or the Stillness Infinity Experience will set you back by $15,998 (around PHP 768,752), which gives you all the bells and whistles it offers.

Based on the press images and videos we’ve seen, the soaking tub has a minimal white exterior surrounded by a Hinoki wood grate. This tub fills water from the bottom and then overflows onto the wood mote to create a soothing sound that’s perfect for those spa nights.
Of course, you can set the mood and soothe your mind with chromatherapy. The tub is surrounded by full-spectrum lighting. And then fog envelops the surface, which you can add essential oils to via the experience tower to emit soothing aromas.

Since it’s a smart bathtub, all of these elements are customizable through the Kohler Konnect app.
There are different tiers of the Stillness Bath available, starting at $6,198 (PHP 297, 795) for the freestanding bath. The other variants add on the auto-fill feature, which you can activate through the Konnect app or your smart speaker, and another that adds the experience tower.
