TikTok has finally released the new Q&A feature to all its creators. As we previously shared, the feature gives the audience an easier way to ask questions and it gives creators a hub for all the queries. You can choose to answer questions via comments, video replies, or even during Live.
To turn on Q&A, go to your settings and privacy page, select Creator, tap Q&A and hit the “Turn on Q&A” button If you want to switch to a Creator Account, select “Manage account” in your settings and choose the “Switch to Creator Account” option. You can enjoy TikTok Q&A by downloading the latest version of the TikTok app.
ORIGINAL STORY:
TikTok is trying to make it easier for creators on its platform to respond to their followers. Spotted by social media consultant Matt Navarra, the new Q&A feature is initially available to public creator accounts with 10,000 followers or more.
Those who have those many followers can opt-in with this test through the app’s settings. TikTok has plans to bring the feature to more creator accounts in the coming weeks.
The Q&A icon will appear for followers when they want to submit a question through the creator’s profile page or the comment section of the videos the TikTok users post.
In turn, the creators can respond either via video or text. The feature also works with TikTok’s Live live streaming feature. It makes it easier for creators to see what they’re asked as all the questions are compiled in one part of the app’s interface.
Since social media platforms and creator and fan/follower relationships hinge on interactions, it makes sense for TikTok to implement this feature. Now, we just have to wait for it to reach more users.
