During the Mi 11 global version launch, Xiaomi revealed which smartphones will be receiving the newest MIUI 12.5 update first. It included the Mi 11 alongside some of last year’s Mi 10 and Mi 10T models. Those handsets are expected to get the operating system in the second quarter of 2021.
Xiaomi also teased that some other smartphones from its stable will get the update soon. And it just revealed the other day the partial list of devices getting the update in the latter part of Q2 2021.

MIUI 12.5 will bring features like smoother performance, speedier screen gestures, and uninstallable system apps.
