Huawei has just introduced its new PC in the Philippines—the MateStation S and Display. If you’re looking for a compact PC tower to help you work from home, this new product might be worth taking a look at.
The MateStation S runs on a Ryzen 5 4600G processor with AMD Radeon Vega graphics, Windows 10 Home, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB SSD. It’s designed to easily slip on a desk with its slim and compact size measuring 9cm wide and 29cm tall. You can upgrade RAM and storage if needed.
It has this Star Trails design that adds a bit of personality to an otherwise plain rectangular tower. It’s still minimalist enough that it can fit in anywhere. This design also wisely incorporates its air intake ducts for better heat dissipation.
The MateStation S offers built-in dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and many essential ports you’ll need to get work done. If you’d rather go wireless with your internet connection, this tower can connect to your Wi-Fi wirelessly.
One of MateStation S’s interesting features is the ultra-slim wired keyboard Huawei pairs this PC with. It has an integrated fingerprint scanner for easy, seamless logins and an NFC reader on the Shift key. That will be particularly useful for quickly transferring files and photos from compatible Huawei phones to the desktop without plugging in cables.
The machine itself is designed to connect seamlessly with other Huawei products thanks to built-in Huawei Share and Multi-Screen Collaboration, which allows for syncing of multiple devices at once.
The Display is a 23.8-inch FullView IPS panel with a Full HD resolution, anti-glare display, 178-degree wide viewing angle, and 250-nit brightness level. It can be useful for photo and video editing as well as your other daily tasks. With TUV Rheinland Certification, it can protect your eyes, too.
On its own, the Huawei MateStation S costs PHP 30,999, while the Huawei Display retails for PHP 7,999.
