Xiaomi is closing out the first quarter of the year with a huge splash. It unveiled both China-only devices and those it plans to release internationally. This story focuses on the global products coming to different markets—and these include the new Mi 11 series handsets, which offer something for different users.
Mi 11 Ultra
The Mi 11 Ultra is the powerhouse smartphone, promising professional-grade photography and videography features. It builds on the Mi 10 Ultra’s legacy and makes a 2021-ready smartphone.
It comes equipped with a triple camera setup at the back, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 48-megapixel periscope camera, and a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. All three sensors support 8K 24fps video for those who want really high-quality videos.
The main sensor promises pro-grade images and photos with the help of Dual Pixel Pro technology, OIS, dToF laser focus, and more. It also has a new Night Mode algorithm for better low-light shots. The Mi 11 Ultra’s telephoto sensor offers 120x AI super zoom and 5x optical zoom, while its ultra-wide sensor has a 128-degree field of view for more cinematic shots and for your macro photography, too.
According to Xiaomi, the Mi 11 Ultra will even support dual phone recording when you need to shoot a video using multiple devices.

Aside from its advanced cameras, the 5G-ready Mi 11 Ultra runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. And it gets a 5,000mAh battery with support for blazing-fast 67W wired and wireless charging that’s capable of topping up the phone in around 36 minutes.
It has a quad-curved 6.81-inch WQHD+ AMOLED DotDisplay with support for adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. But aside from that, there’s a new 1.1-inch AMOLED rear display that can double as an always-on display, notification window, and preview screen for selfies taken with the rear cameras.
The Mi 11 Ultra‘s pricing starts at EUR 1,199 (approx. PHP 68,477), and it comes in Ceramic White and Ceramic Black.
Mi 11i
If you prefer having a flat display over a curved one, then the Mi 11i is the handset for you. It still offers flagship-level specs but with a slim and compact design at 7.8mm thin.
The 5G-capable smartphone also runs on Snapdragon 888 but with 8GB of RAM and two storage options: 128GB or 256GB. It sports a premium glass body with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both sides and a 6.67-inch AMOLED DotDisplay with a tiny punch-hole for the 20-megapixel camera. This display supports a 120Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 color gamut, and HDR 10+.

For entertainment junkies, the Mi 11i has dual speakers and support for Dolby Atmos, a first for Mi devices. It’s also equipped with a 4,520mAh battery with support for 33W fast-charging.
As for its capable cameras, you get a 108-megapixel primary lens with 1/1.52″ sensor size and support for 9-in-1 binning, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with a 119-degree field of view, and a 5-megapixel telemacro lens. Some of the modes you can expect from these shooters include Audio Zoom, Dual Video, Night Mode 2.0 and Night Mode selfie, One-click AI cinema, Vlog mode, and front-facing slow-motion video. It also gets 8K video recording support.
You can get the Mi 11i starting at EUR 649 (PHP 37,066) for the 8GB + 128GB and EUR 699 (PHP 39,921) for the 8GB + 256GB. It comes in the colors Celestial Silver, Frosty White, and Cosmic Black.
Mi 11 Lite 5G & 4G
The Mi 11 Lite 5G and 4G options might be light in name and design, but they are capable devices. They weigh no more than 159g and at just 6.81mm thin. It’ll be so easy to slip these phones into your bags.
Both sport the same triple camera array with a 64-megapixel main sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and 5-megapixel telemacro camera, with support for one-click AI cinema modes. The 5G variant has a slightly better 20-megapixel selfie camera over the 4G’s 16-megapixel shooter.

The Mi 11 Lite 5G is the first handset to carry the newly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G chipset with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Meanwhile, the Mi 11 Lite 4G runs on a Snapdragon 732G processor with 6GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of storage. (The Mi 11 Lite 4G variant in the Philippines comes with 8GB of RAM instead of 6GB of RAM.)
Both have 4,250mAh batteries with support for 33W fast-charging. The displays on the Mi 11 Lite 5G and 4G are mostly similar with a 6.55-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with support for 10-bit color, 90Hz refresh rate, and TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification. But the 5G model supports HDR10+ and comes with Gorilla Glass 6 protection, while the 4G option supports HDR10 and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The Mi 11 Lite 5G comes in Truffle Black, Mint Green, and Citrus Yellow impact-resistant glass backs, with the pricing starting at EUR 369 (PHP 21,074). The Mi 11 Lite 4G is also available in fun shades: Boba Black, Peach Pink, and Bubblegum Blue. Pricing begins at EUR 299.
The Mi Lite 4G with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will come to the Philippines for PHP 14,990. It will be available at authorized Mi Stores and partner retailers nationwide as well as on Lazada and Shopee.

Mi Smart Band 6
Xiaomi has updated its smart fitness tracker with the new Mi Smart Band 6. It offers a full-screen 1.56-inch AMOLED touch display with 50% more screen real estate than its predecessor and comes in a new running oval-like shape. Customizability is top of mind, with support for 60 different watch faces and six strap options (black, orange, yellow, olive, ivory, and blue).
The Mi Smart Band 6 can track 30 exercise modes and auto-detect six of these, including outdoor running, walking, treadmill running, indoor rowing, elliptical training, and cycling. Xiaomi promises you can take it for a swim with its 5ATM water resistance, don’t take it on a dive, though.

It also monitors your heart rate, blood oxygen levels (even during intense workouts), and sleep (including REM and sleep breathing quality and cycles).
With a 125mAh battery, the Mi Smart Band 6 promises to get over 14 days on a single charge. But, of course, this is dependent on your use.
The Mi Smart Band 6 retails at a starting price of EUR 44.99 (PHP 2,570).
Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro
While it’s still uncertain when we can return to watching movies in theaters, you can bring the cinematic experience to your home with the Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro. It can project 1,920 x 1,080 FHD picture quality with up to 1300 ANSI lumens brightness and support for HDR10. It even comes with 10W speakers with support for Dolby Audio and DTS-HD.

The device also supports omni-directional keystone correction and runs on Android TV. That means you can easily position the screen and access Chromecast and Google Assistant on this projector. You can even turn it into your smart home’s new hub with support for voice commands.
The Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro is priced at EUR 999 (PHP 57,054), with early bird pricing at EUR 899 (PHP 51,344).
