LOOK: Project 7 to 1 x SNK ATK’s Japanese-inspired WFH capsule collection

It might be tempting to slip into comfy pambahay outfits when you work from home. (You know, the ones with holes in them. You have those, don’t lie.) And on some days, that’s okay. Comfort is key. But sometimes you have video calls, or you need to run an errand outside, you’ll need outfits that are stylish yet functional.

Enter the latest collaboration between Project 7 to 1 and SNK ATK Design Lab. The e-commerce startup founded by digital creator and entrepreneur Carlo Ople partnered with the Philippine-based technical clothing design studio to create Pro:ject Shadow, a collection of Japanese-inspired, work-from-home (WFH) apparel.

The clothes are perfect for busy WFH days and quick and safe trips outside for your errands.

“For this collection, the best partner was SNK ATK because we share the same passion for Japanese design and technical clothing that delivers functional benefits and not just pure aesthetic,” said Ople in a press release.

“This is for the modern-day work from home Filipino who wants clothes that are comfy and unique which they can wear while doing Zoom calls, presentations, and other tasks,” he added.

Shadow Noragi Jacket v721 (PHP 3,999)

This lightweight transitional jacket works for lounging at home or taking out during windy or light rain days. It’s their interpretation of the noragi, a traditional Japanese workwear piece with shorter sleeves than a kimono that allows for unhindered movement.

“Our hero piece, the Noragi Jacket, captures the entire philosophy of this collection,” said Psalm Alfafara, creative director and principal designer of SNK ATK. “We used lightweight water-resistant nylon ripstop to ensure protection and easy washing, combined with premium brushed fleece on the collar and the pockets for extra comfort for contact points that are likely to touch skin.”
