Huawei’s first TV in the country offers a lot more than just a big black box to watch your favorite content. The company also built the Vision S Series into a productivity device that you can use to get in touch with loved ones.
The Vision S TV comes equipped with a 13-megapixel magnetic detachable camera that can support TV calls with the 1080p MeeTime Video Call Feature or become a Home Camera for taking wide-angle selfies with you and your loved ones. You will need the MeeTime app for those high-resolution video calls, which is Huawei’s native video-chat app.
The Vision S series comes with native apps like WishFM, Basketball Slam, Cignal, and more. As a HarmonyOS device, it has access to Huawei’s Petal Search Widget to help you find the apps you need. If you’re looking for Google services, this TV supports smart boxes. You can even plug in an Apple TV box if you want.
The Vision S is equipped with a built-in AI Voice Command (a.k.a. Hey Celia) for hands-free navigation of the TV, including tweaking settings or accessing your favorite shows.
As part of Huawei’s ecosystem and another product looped into its 1+8+N strategy, the Vision S supports Multi-Device Collaboration, especially Huawei NFC-compatible gadgets (like its smartphones).
Huawei Vision S introduces One-Hop Projection, which lets you share audio or visual content from your phone to the large screen by tapping on the remote, and Distribution Gaming, which turns your phone into a gamepad.
As the company explains in its press release, “By installing and running games directly on your HUAWEI Vision S, and establishing a connection with your phone, you’ll be able to use your phone as a handy and nimble gamepad.”
And yes, this TV supports Huawei Share, too, so you can quickly transfer files from your Huawei devices, making it easier to work or learn using a bigger screen. For funsies, there’s even built-in Karaoke!
Huawei has also partnered with Konsulta MD, an online medical consultation app so that you can get access to medical care from the safety of your home. That’s quite important for the times we live in.
If you don’t have a Huawei device, it will work with your Android or iOS gadget, too. You’ll need an Android phone that runs on Android 8.0 or later and download the Huawei Vision Home app to access features.
As for iOS, Huawei said, “The Huawei Vision S Series can also support iPhone users through third-party apps which can make features such as projection and screen-share available on iOS.”
The television itself promises a superb audiovisual experience. It offers a 120Hz refresh rate panel with 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, and it is TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and TÜV Rheinland Flicker-free eye care certified. For audio, you get 4W speakers with cutting-edge sound enhancement technology and the latest and most advanced audio processing algorithm for more immersive sound.
The Huawei Vision S is available in 55-inch and 65-inch models.
The 55-inch model retails for PHP 36,999. But if you pay cash or straight credit purchase, you can get it for PHP 32,999. When you pre-order starting today until May 20, 2021, you get a bundle containing a FREE Smart Box that houses your favorite apps such as Netflix, YouTube, Google Services, and one Wireless Mic worth PHP 6,998.
If you want the larger 65-inch model, it has a suggested retail price of PHP 56,999. But when you get it in cash or straight credit, you can get it for PHP 49,999. Those who pre-order will receive a FREE Smart Box and two Wireless Mics worth PHP 9,997.
