What you need to know about the vivo V21 5G & V21e

Two new vivo phones are finally arriving in the Philippines with their focus on helping you get the best portraits, selfies, and more from your smartphone cameras.

Let’s dive right into what the vivo V21 5G and vivo V21e have to offer:

vivo V21 5G

The vivo V21 5G is more than ready to get you the best selfies and vlogs, no matter what time of the day it is. The V21 is armed with a 44-megapixel front-facing camera with optical and electronic image stabilization and dual-selfie LED lights. Yes, there are two LED lights at the top of the phone, flanking the selfie shooter. You can use these lights for both your selfies and your videos, so you will definitely find this feature handy if you vlog a lot. vivo pairs this front-facing camera with a 64-megapixel primary, 8-megapixel wide-angle, and 2-megapixel macro sensors, offering you more flexibility with your smartphone photography. OIS and EIS are also available with the rear shooters.

The V21 comes in a similar design as the V20, but that’s not a bad thing. You get this phone in Sunset Dazzle or Dusk Blue colors, both very sleek and fashionable shades that you’d want to show off. This handset runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also has a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 4,000mAh battery that supports 33W Flash Charge via its USB-C port.

The vivo V21 5G retails for PHP 23,999.

vivo V21e

If you still want a capable selfie camera on a smartphone but don’t need the selfie fill lights, you might want to look at the 4G-capable vivo V21e. It still has a 44-megapixel selfie camera paired with triple camera sensors at the back (64-megapixel main, 8-megapixel wide-angle, and 2-megapixel macro). But these lenses only have EIS instead of having both OIS and EIS like the V21 5G.

It’s just as stylish as its sibling, though, with the even more striking design on the Diamond Flare option. If that’s too much for you, there’s also a Roman Black variant. The V21e also has a 6.44-inch AMOLED FHD+ panel, but it’s downgraded to the typical 60Hz refresh rate. It also has the same battery capacity, charging speed, RAM, and storage as the V21 5G. But this model runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor, and it retains an audio jack, which isn’t available on the V21 5G. Both run on FuntouchOS 11.1 based on Android 11.

You can get the vivo V21e for PHP 17,999.
