Are you on the market for a new tablet? Huawei recently brought a couple of its tablets that might fulfill what you need. We’ve listed down some ideas of what you can do with the new MatePad and MatePad T10 LTE, which might help you when you do decide to get a new tablet.
Huawei arms the MatePad with a more powerful Kirin 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a bigger 128GB storage. At the same time, the Huawei MatePad T10 now gets LTE connectivity, so if you aren’t near any Wi-Fi spots, you don’t have to worry about not being able to access your work or lessons online. It also runs on a Kirin 710A chipset with 32GB of storage and 2GB of RAM.
The MatePad makes it easy to connect your Huawei device as it supports multi-screen collaboration. It makes it easy for you to navigate and use your smartphone simultaneously as your tablet, allowing you to do things like make calls and send messages from the tablet and even drag and drop files between devices.
The MatePad gets a large capacity 7,250mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast-charge, allowing you to avoid being too concerned about running out of battery quickly. The Huawei MatePad T10 LTE gets a slightly smaller 5,100mAh battery, which is typically still good for a full day’s use.
The MatePad encourages you to get creative as it supports the Huawei M-Pencil, which is sold separately. It promises an ultra-low latency experience and natural hand feel, making it easier to draw, doodle, or write.
Binge-watch your faves
Huawei makes it enticing to watch on either tablet. The MatePad gets a 10.4-inch 2K FullView display with an 84% screen-to-body ratio, stunning color accuracy, and incredible levels of detail. And that display is paired with a Harman Kardon-certified quad-speaker sound system for an even better watching experience. The new MatePad supports Wi-Fi 6, which makes sure the tablet gets a smooth and stable connection and guarantees that buffering and frame freezing are things of the past.
The Huawei MatePad T10 LTE also has a large 9.7-inch HD large screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio. It comes with double large sound speakers designed symmetrically left and right to provide a surround sound effect. The audio is further optimized with the support of Histen 6.0.
Read to your heart’s content
Both tablets have an eBook mode to make it easier to read on the devices. The MatePad gets a TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certified display, while the MatePad T10 LTE has TÜV Rheinland certification for Eye Comfort. Both work to ensure your eye’s comfort while you dive deep into your favorite reads.
Keep kids entertained
The Huawei MatePad T10 LTE can also be a learning companion for children with its modified Kids’ Corner. It has established safeguards such as parent-controlled app management, content management, and time management. Through this, parents can guide their kids through age-appropriate educational content to help with their intellectual growth and academic performance.
Pricing and availability
The new Huawei MatePad’s SRP is PHP 20,990, but it’s currently available for PHP 18,999, while the Huawei MatePad T10 LTE retails for PHP 7,999. The new generation of Huawei MatePads are now available in all Huawei Concept Stores, official online store, and flagship stores on Shopee and Lazada.
But these aren’t the only new MatePads in the country. Huawei Philippines is launching the MatePad Pro 12.6 on June 25 at 5:00 p.m. via live stream on Huawei Philippines’ official Facebook page and YouTube channel.
Launched globally last June 2 as one of the first Huawei devices to run Harmony OS, the Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6 packs some high-tech specs, including the fastest Kirin processor capable of handling intense multitasking and AI computing, a FullView display with the world’s highest screen-to-screen ratio, and seamless multi-device synergy.
