realme Pad is the company’s first tablet

realme’s first tablet has debuted in India, alongside its new smartphones (the realme 8i and 8s 5G). The realme Pad is a budget-friendly option running on a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

realme keeps it compact at just 6.9mm. It sports a 10.4-inch AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and 82.5% screen-to-body ratio, and it offers different modes, including Reading, Dark, Night, Sunlight, and Eye Comfort. To make Netflix viewing enjoyable, the realme Pad also comes with Dolby Atmos quad speakers.

The tablet comes with a front-facing HD camera with dual-mic noise cancellation and an 8-megapixel rear camera. Get half a day of video watching with its 7,100mAh battery supporting 18-watt Quick Charge and reverse charging.

If you’re more interested in the phones, there are two new realme 8 options in India. These new models feature the company’s Dynamic RAM Expansion tech, which brings 5GB of additional memory using the storage for improved multitasking.

The realme 8i is the first handset powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 processor with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage. It runs on Android 11-based realme UI 2.0 and comes with a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD with a fast 120Hz refresh rate.

It has a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel main shooter paired with 2-megapixel portrait and macro sensors. In front, there is a 16-megapixel camera.

This handset packs in a 5,000mAh battery with 18-watt fast charging support over USB-C. It also still retains a headphone jack.

The realme 8i is available in Space Black and Space Purple, with the 4GB + 64GB option available for INR 13,999 and the 6GB + 128GB variant costing INR 15,999.

The realme 8s 5G is also the first device sporting the MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and realme UI 2.0. It comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 90.5% screen-to-body ratio.

Its camera setup includes a triple rear array with a 64-megapixel primary lens, a 2-megapixel monochrome portrait sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. There’s also a 16-megapixel selfie camera housed in a punch hole in the front. 

The realme 8s 5G has a 5,000mAh battery with support for realme’s 33-watt Dart Charge. And you can get it comes in Universal Bue and Universal Purple colors. It comes in two configurations: 6GB RAM + 128GB of storage for INR 17,999 and 8GB + 128GB for INR 19,999 (USD 272, PHP 13,578).
