vivo has refreshed its X flagship series with the newly launched vivo X70, X70 Pro, and X70 Pro Plus. The company has partnered with Zeiss to tune its rear-facing cameras.
The standard vivo X70 comes with a 40-megapixel Sony IMX766V sensor paired with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 12-megapixel portrait camera, and a 32-megapixel selfie camera in front. Meanwhile, the X70 Pro gets a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an additional 8-megapixel periscope lens with the two 12-megapixel sensors.
And then the flagship X70 Pro Plus also has a 50-megapixel main lens and the same portrait and periscope sensors. But it gets a better 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and all four of its cameras support optical image stabilization.
The vivo X70 runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It comes with a 4,450mAh battery that supports 44-watt fast charging. It also has the same 6.56-inch AMOLED panel as its predecessor (yes, with a 120Hz refresh rate, too).
The vivo X70 Pro comes with the same display and battery as the standard model. But this variant runs on a Samsung Exynos 1080 chipset.
Meanwhile, the vivo X70 Pro Plus gets a 6.78-inch 2K AMOLED screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate. This flagship handset packs in the premium Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
