Black Shark released a minor upgrade of its Black Shark 4 series with the new Black Shark 4S and 4S Pro. And before we get to that, we have to talk about the limited edition version of the phone. Black Shark partnered with Bandai Namco to release the Black Shark 4S Gundam Limited Edition.
This variant comes in the classic white, red, and blue color scheme. There are also custom wallpapers, icons, and boot animation to fit the theme on the software side. Even the protective case and retail box are Gundam-themed.

The Black Shark 4S still runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset, while the 4S Pro gets the new Snapdragon 888+ processor. Both still run on the MIUI-based JOYUI 12.8 operating system and have 4,5000mah batteries supporting 120W proprietary fast-charging. The phones are compatible with other charging protocols like Qualcomm Quick Charge (QC) and USB Power Delivery (PD).
Both devices still sport the 6.67-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 720Hz touch sampling rate.

On the camera front, both get 8-megapixel 120-degree ultra-wide cameras, 5-megapixel macro shooters, and 20-megapixel selfie cameras. But the 4S only gets a 48-megapixel main camera, and the 4S Pro gets a 64-megapixel primary shooter.
The Black Shark 4S series also gets a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, RGB light, dual stereo speakers, and many sensors, including ambient light sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor, compass, gyroscope, and barometer.

The standard Black Shark 4S and 4S Pro both come in black and white. Here are the pricing details for all three models:
