Microsoft has been partnering with different lifestyle brands to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Xbox console. The latest collaboration might come as a surprise, but it’s with a luxury brand that’s also celebrating its 100th anniversary. The company partnered with Gucci for this exclusive Gucci Xbox Bundle, a special edition release that costs a jaw-dropping USD 10,000 (around PHP 498,000 converted).
There will only be 100 units available worldwide. Each numbered set comes with the custom Xbox Series X console laser-engraved with Gucci’s signature GG pattern and two Xbox wireless controllers in carbon black and featuring Gucci’s web stripes in red and blue.
It comes in a hard case inspired by Gucci’s archival luggage and fits the console and the controllers. At the bottom of the bag, there are the words “Good Game,” which is the campaign’s slogan that also makes us think about the initials of the brand’s founder Guccio Gucci. It comes in that signature Xbox green, which you’ll also see on the lid with the word Xbox.
In case you’re wondering, you get an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership, of course.
The set will be available on November 17 on gucci.com, and at select Gucci stores, including the following: New York’s Wooster, Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, Moliere Palacio de Hierro in Mexico City, Beijing SKP, Shibuya Parco in Tokyo, as well as Gucci Circolo locations in London, Berlin, and Milan.
