We know Huawei is all set to launch its newest foldable next week. But before the December 23 launch, the company was already ready to show off the Huawei P50 Pocket. It was spotted in a fashion editorial published on Harper’s Bazaar China.
We say spotted lightly, but it was featured prominently with Chinese actress and singer Guan Xiaotong. Seeing it in her hands, the Huawei P50 Pocket looks like it’s on the larger side, at least for a foldable that follows the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip look. It has a distinctive gold color with a feather-like texture to it.
But what’s more prominent are the two circles on the cover—one of them is a circular camera module, and the other is a circular display where you can see the time, possibly notifications, and a preview of what you’re shooting when the phone is folded.
The gold pattern certainly looks lovely and classy. But we’re waiting to see the silver option. In Huawei’s teaser, there looks like there’s a silver back cover with a diamond pattern.
We don’t have to wait too long to find out what this new foldable offers. Huawei is launching the P50 Pocket on December 23.
