vivo’s newest V23 series is just about to launch in the Philippines, and it brings with it some signature features we’ve come to appreciate from the brand.
These are the top three things to watch out for with the vivo V23 series:
Color-changing handset
The vivo V23 features a photochromic design tech that changes the color of the Sunshine Gold model into an aquamarine hue when exposed to UV light. It’s sure to draw attention when you’re out on a sunny day or make for stunning mirror selfies.
Vlogging ready with a 50-megapixel selfie camera
Speaking of selfies, you can get high-quality shots and vlog-ready videos with the dual selfie setup, including a 50-megapixel autofocus camera paired with an 8-megapixel super-wide-angle camera. You get a 64-megapixel auto-focus rear camera array at the back to shoot and record your favorite moments.
Capable hardware
The vivo V23 5G runs on a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor with 5G paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. At the same time, the vivo V23e is powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 processor with 8G of RAM and 128GB of storage. Both offer 4GB virtual RAM for a power boost and run on Android 11-based Funtouch OS 12 out of the box.
The vivo V23 5 G’s 4,200mAh battery supports a 44-watt USB-C fast charging tech, getting you from 0% to 68% in half an hour. The V23e has a slightly smaller 4,050mAh battery but the same 44-watt fast-charging support.
Both also have 6.44-inch AMOLED displays, but the V23 gets a refresh rate upgrade to 90Hz.

This February, you can get first dibs on the V23 series. vivo offers limited vouchers up to PHP 1,000 off (around USD 20 converted) and freebies from February 5 to 19, 2022 on Shopee.
