Lenovo Legion has just launched its newest gaming laptops built to offer “portable powerhouse performance.” These new gaming laptops come equipped with Windows 11 and have a free Xbox PC Game Pass included, too. These machines are powered by the latest 12th-generation Intel Core Processor and up to the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX laptop GPUs.
Lenovo wants its gaming laptop users to know that it has been listening to their feedback and added features like a top-placed camera bump with eShutter, improved and advanced thermals with Legion Coldfront 4.0, better ergonomics on its Legion TrueStrike keyboard, and optimized tuning via the Lenovo Vantage.
Let’s take a better look at the three new legion laptops.
Lenovo Legion 5i
This laptop is built to be an all-rounder PC. It has up to a 12th-gen Intel Core i7-12700H processor, up to the latest NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3060 with 140W maximum TGP. It also has up to a 15-inch QHD IPS display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, 165Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and 100% sRGB color accuracy.
Lenovo improved its cooling system from the previous generation, promising a 40% more powerful fan with a 45% larger exhaust fan while ensuring it doesn’t run too loud.

The Legion 5i also gets a new metal chassis that is thinner and lighter than the previous generation to make it a more portable laptop. This model is available in Storm Gray and comes with 4-Zone RGB or white backlighting via Legion’s Spectrum RGB lighting solution built into the TrueStrike keyboard.
The Lenovo Legion 5i has a starting price of PHP 89,995 (around USD 1,717 converted).
Lenovo Legion 5i Pro
If you want a bigger and better display on your gaming laptop, the Legion 5i Pro has a 16-inch QHD+ display with up to a 240Hz adaptive refresh rate. It has the same processor as the Legion 5i, but you get up to the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070Ti with a 150W maximum TGP. The 2,960 x 1,600 IPS display comes in a 16:10 format with 100% sRGB color gamut and up to 3ms response time. It supports Dolby Vision and NVIDIA G-Sync.
The Lenovo Legion 5i Pro has an expanded bandwidth from 4800Mhz DDR5 memory and up to 1TB PCIe SSD Gen4 storage. It promises less lag with improved Wi-Fi 6e antenna placement and an 80Whr battery capacity with the Super Rapid Charge. Lenovo claims this can get you from 0% to 80% in just 30 minutes.

When it comes to cooling, it has an updated fan system, larger exhaust area, and improved penta heat pipe. With Legion Coldfront 4.0, it also has noise suppression now, thanks to its noise-insulated chassis. It’s designed to be thinner than the previous generation and features the new Legion Spectrum RGB Lighting.
The Lenovo Legion 5i Pro is available in Storm Gray, and its retail price starts at PHP 119,995 (~USD 2,292).
