Coway Airmega 230 is a good-looking air purifier

We won’t deny the usefulness of air purifiers. With the pandemic, it became clear how important air quality is in our homes. And sure, they might be practical appliances, but we’d appreciate them more if they fit right into our homes. One of the newest air purifiers from Coway handles both quite well. Let’s get to know the Coway Airmega 230.

This new air purifier sits in the middle of the brand’s lineup. It bridges that gap between Coway’s “Large Space” and “Medium Space” air purifiers. It can be considered the smallest member of the Large Space group, though.

And it comes in this sleek, minimalist design. It’s a boxy appliance that comes in a go-with-anything Dove White and soothing Sage Green options. We appreciate that it doesn’t try to stick out too much as it does what it needs to.

The Coway Airmega 230 is rated to clean air in a 403 sq. ft. space in around 12 and a half minutes. It can take on a larger 975 sq. ft. room, but it’ll take half an hour to accomplish this. It works for both a small apartment and a large room in your home.

This purifier comes with two filters: a washable pre-filter and its 2-in-1 Max 2 filter. The former takes care of larger particles like hair and dust. While the latter handles odors, harmful gases, viruses, bacteria, germs, and more.

The 2-in-1 filter combines activated charcoal on one side and the brand’s Green True HEPA filter on the other. It promises to help decrease virus spread and trap 99.99% of ultra-fine particles (like pollen and mold) in your home.

You can get the Coway Airmega 230 for USD 299.
