This Motorola phone isn’t the only gadget to get the Pantone makeover. The LG MoodUP refrigerator adds the vibrant Viva Magenta as a color option to this appliance.
LG designed the MoodUP ref to make it easier to change the look and feel of your kitchen depending on your mood without spending extra on bespoke appliances. (It’s an obvious competitor to Samsung’s bespoke appliance line, although that doesn’t seem as flexible as this LG option.)
Through the LG ThinQ app, you can now choose from 23 color options (including the Pantone Color of the Year) to decorate this refrigerator. This 4-Door French-Door model now has over 190,000 color combinations available. The LG MoodUP can change its look thanks to the LED color-changeable door panels.
If you’re a traditionalist, you can still fall back on the timeless Lux Gray and Lux White color of the refrigerator itself. But if you’re asking us, you’re wasting the perfect opportunity to add a dash of color to your kitchen.
LG hasn’t shared pricing information on this personalized appliance yet, but you can expect the LG MoodUP to come at a premium. LG plans to bring the fridge to its exhibition booth at CES 2023 this week. It joins the innovative LG ARTCOOL Gallery at the consumer show.
