Lenovo Go Desk Station is a remote work-ready lamp

Lenovo has a penchant for developing quirky, transforming devices that are actually quite useful. This time, it makes the humble desk lamp a Swiss Army knife of sorts for remote workers. Meet the Lenovo Go Desk Station with Webcam.

Lenovo Go Desk Station is Microsoft Teams certified

This high-tech lamp makes the most of your desk space. It has a webcam mount, adjustable desk light with a rotating arm, Qi wireless charger, and expansion hub in one.

Lenovo Go Desk Station

The most important part of the Go Desk Station for remote workers is its webcam mount. Lenovo equips this device with its Go 4K Pro Webcam (which you can buy on its own, too). This webcam can stream 4K at up to 30 frames per second. And it has features like autofocus and auto-framing with an adjustable field of view. You don’t need a separate ring light either with its auto ambient light adjustment via the built-in desk light.

This light is height-adjustable and features a rotating arm, so you can position it in the direction you want. It’ll come in as a useful light for content creators. The light has three color temperature options, including 3,000K (yellow-white), 4,500K (cool white), and 6,500K (daylight), with brightness up to 1600 lux at 0.5 meters (1.5 feet).

Now, we aren’t forgetting the Lenovo Go Desk Station’s desktop hub and charging dock. It has a 135-watt USB-C power input with a full-function 65-watt USB-C port for laptop power. It’s also a wireless charger with a 15-watt Qi-compliant charging pad. This hub also has a 20-watt USB Type-C port, two USB Type-A 3.1 ports, and an HDMI 2.0 output for external displays up to 4K at 60 frames per second.

The Lenovo Go Desk Station with Webcam will go on sale this March at a starting price of USD 329. If you’re only interested in the Lenovo Go 4K Pro webcam, you can get it for USD 150.
