Spotify’s Pag-ibig Hub gets you ready for Valentine’s Day

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Spotify celebrates love in the Philippines with its new Pag-ibig Hub. It houses a fresh slate of music and podcast playlists filled with Filipinos’ hugot tracks and podcasts.

You can expect over 50 new podcast episodes on Spotify in collaboration with popular Filipino creators like Ang Walang Kwentang Podcast, Hugot Marcelo, skypodcast, and more.

In a survey conducted by Spotify, they found that nearly 80% of Filipinos believe audio is important when it comes to consuming content on love, dating, and relationships. And of those surveyed, 53% use audio as “sound therapy” to cope with rough seasons in love, with 40% noting that podcasts help them find diverse perspectives on love.

With this new hub, listeners can expect fresh takes on modern love, including situationships and the art of parinig. The latter Spotify noted is what some users do through song lyrics they “casually” post on social media through the built-in Spotify Lyrics feature.

If you want to celebrate love or help get over a broken heart, you can check out the Pag-ibig Hub over here or check out the playlist here. Spotify is also offering Spotify Premium for just PHP 149 (around USD 3) for four months for those who haven’t tried Premium yet. This promo is valid until February 14.
