HONOR X7a: What you need to know

HONOR’s newest smartphone might not have the sturdy screen of the HONOR X9a 5G, but the strength of the HONOR X7a is focused on its long-lasting battery.

The HONOR X7a packs in a 6,000mAh battery with 22.5W SuperCharge support. It promises to offer up to 42 hours of social media use, 42 hours of phone calls, or 29 hours of music streaming. According to HONOR, a quick 30-minute charge can get you over 10 hours of music streaming.

But this 4G phone isn’t quite as bulky, even with that large-capacity battery. HONOR offers the X7a in three shades: Titanium Silver, Ocean Blue, and Midnight Black.

This handset features a 6.74-inch HONOR FullView Display with a 90.07% screen-to-body ratio and a certification for low blue light emissions. This means, if you’re taking advantage of its long battery life well into the night, you can use features like Eye Comfort Mode, eBook Mode, and Dark Mode to lessen eye fatigue.

HONOR packs in a quad-camera setup in the X7a, including a 50-megapixel main camera, 5-megapixel wide, and two 2-megapixel macro and depth cameras. In front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

This handset gets an older MediaTek Helio G37 chip paired with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable storage, and an Android 12-based Magic UI 6.1 interface.

The HONOR X7a is now available at all HONOR kiosks and on HONOR’s Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok shops. You can get it for PHP 7,990 (around USD 145). And if you get until February 28, you’ll get a free pair of HONOR earbuds worth PHP 1,590 (~USD 30).
