A couple of months since its international debut, the OPPO Find N2 Flip is finally getting two features I’ve been waiting for a Spotify widget and a speech-to-text quick reply on the cover display.
OPPO and Spotify worked on the new Spotify widget exclusively available on the Find N2 Flip. The companies set out to “maximize the utility” of this largest flip phone cover screen. The widget will let you fully control the playing media, tap the Heart button to like a song, and view content recommendations.
Meanwhile, the custom-built speech-to-text quick reply function will finally make it easier to reply to messages without opening the phone. Initially, the Find N2 Flip lets you reply via canned responses only. Now, you can dictate what you want to say using apps like WhatsApp, Messenger, Messages by Google, Telegram, and LINE.
OPPO promises four years of “major device improvements” coming to the OPPO Find N2 Flip, with this update being the first wave. You can expect the new features sometime this month (April).
According to the company, speech-to-text will be automatically available, while users can add the Spotify widget through the screen widgets settings. It’ll be under the Pocket Player option.
