POCO has a couple of new devices that gaming geeks and photo and tech lovers will appreciate. Let’s do a quick rundown of both the POCO F5 Pro and POCO F5.
POCO F5 Pro: Flagship-ready midranger
The POCO F5 Pro is designed to provide an exceptional gaming and entertainment experience. Its 6.67-inch WQHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display boasts 1,400 nits peak brightness and 68 billion colors, providing stunning visuals and vivid clarity. With the super touch feature, you can enjoy a more accurate and responsive gaming experience.
This Pro model promises to run smoothly and efficiently with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, up to 12GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of storage. It also has LiquidCool Technology 2.0 with a Vapor Chamber and FEAS 2.2 frame stabilization technology, ensuring the phone stays cool and stable. Additionally, it has IP53 splash protection and a dual speaker setup.

This handset brings a capable set of cameras, including a 64-megapixel primary sensor that supports 8K video recording with OIS and EIS for video stability. It also has an 8-megapixel ultra-wide and 2-megapixel macro to complement the main camera. Plus, a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The POCO F5 Pro’s 5,160mAh battery vows to last for a whole day with multiple fast charging options. You can go for the 30W wireless charging route to get 50% battery in about 30 minutes. Or you can opt for the 67W turbocharging wired technology to get the same level in 15 minutes.

POCO F5: New powerful kid on the block
Meanwhile, the POCO F5 is the first smartphone in the international market to run on the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset, a processor designed for mobile gaming enthusiasts. POCO claims it has a 31% higher AnTuTu score than the previous generation and outperforms some famous 8-series chipsets. It also has LiquidCool Technology 2.0 with a Vapor Chamber and steam channels to absorb and dissipate heat efficiently, improving heat dissipation by 35%.
The device has a 6.67-inch 120Hz Flow AMOLED DotDisplay that offers a comfortable and immersive visual experience. You can switch between multiple apps smoothly, from scrolling and browsing to video calls and streaming. The display has a 93.4% screen-to-body ratio and supports 1920Hz PWM dimming and SGS-certified Low Blue Light Ex eye care.

The F5 also gets a 64-megapixel triple camera setup similar to the F5 Pro. The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset enhances the camera. And its 4K video recording is stabilized by OIS and EIS. (There’s no 8K video here.) You can also choose from different film filters and frames to suit your style and preference.
This smartphone has a long-lasting 5,000mAh battery that supports super-fast charging, so you don’t have to worry about running out of power. It has 67W wired charging with the included charger, but there’s no wireless charging available.
