Ecovacs unveiled the Deebot X2 Omni, a square-shaped robot vacuum mop, at IFA 2023. This device is an upgrade from the X1 Omni, costing EUR 1,399.
The square shape of the Deebot X2 Omni allows it to clean corners and edges better than circular robots. It also has a lower profile of 9.5cm, making it easier to get under furniture. The device features a dual-laser lidar technology that improves navigation and obstacle avoidance capabilities.
This robot vacuum also has a powerful suction of 8,000Pa and a mopping function with auto-lift and hot water self-cleaning features. It comes with an Omni auto-empty station that charges, empties, and cleans the device automatically.
Ecovacs also adds a longer roller brush and introduces a voice assistant called Yiko 2.0, which it claims is more responsive and better at detecting your input. You can check it out more here.
