At IFA 2023, Yale introduced a new range of home security products for the European market. The line includes a new video doorbell, a next-generation smart alarm system, and new indoor and outdoor smart cameras that work with its smart locks.
Yale Smart Video Doorbell
The Yale Smart Video Doorbell lets you monitor your doorstep with 1080p video and a 154-degree view. It has wired and wireless options, two-way audio, live viewing, and night vision. The doorbell sends you alerts when it detects motion or someone rings the bell. It costs GBP 129.99 / EUR 159.99.
Yale Smart Outdoor Camera
The Smart Outdoor Camera comes in wired and wireless versions, with 1080p video and a 154-degree view. For GBP 119.99 / EUR 129.99, it has a spotlight that turns on when it senses movement. This outdoor cam also has color night vision and motion-triggered recordings.
Yale Smart Indoor Camera & Smart Alarm
The Smart Indoor Camera has 1080p video, a 110-degree view, night vision, and motion-triggered recordings. You can set it to privacy mode when your door is unlocked, so it stops recording when you are home. It also has customizable zones, human detection, and motion scheduling to avoid false alarms. It costs GBP 59.99 / EUR 59.99.
You can connect these cameras (and other Yale products) with the new Smart Alarm, which secures your home inside and out. The Smart Alarm works with the Yale Home app, so you can arm and disarm it remotely and get notifications when the sensors are triggered. You can control up to four areas of your property separately with one alarm kit.
The Yale Smart Alarm is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Philips Hue. You can also subscribe to get extra features, such as cloud storage and cellular backup. Professional monitoring is also available for an additional fee. The Smart Alarm kit starts at EUR 349.99 / GBP 349.99.
