Sustainable tech brand Fairphone tackles the growing problem of e-waste with its latest innovation: the Fairbuds. These true wireless earbuds prioritize repairability and an eco-conscious design, setting them apart from the typical disposable earbuds that dominate the market.
Fix, don’t ditch
Unlike traditional earbuds that become landfill fodder when batteries die, Fairbuds are meant to last. Key components, including the batteries in both the buds and the charging case, are user-replaceable. You can also fix or exchange the left or right earbud, the silicone ring, earbud tips, and the charging case’s outer shell and core. This extends the lifespan of the earbuds significantly and reduces electronic waste.
Fairphone extends sustainable philosophy with Fairbuds
The Fairbuds philosophy aligns with Fairphone‘s established commitment to ethical practices. They boast 70% “recycled and fair materials” with 100% recycled rare earth elements. This commitment includes a two-year warranty that’s extendable for one more year when you register online.

Fairbuds aren’t just about sustainability; they deliver high-quality audio, too. We get features we’ve seen in your typical wireless earbuds, including 11mm titanium-coated drivers, active noise cancellation, and IP54 sweat and water resistance. They even offer dual-point connectivity and environmental noise cancellation for clear calls. It also has a dedicated app where you can tweak the sound settings.
