LG DukeBox premium speaker concept will be on display at CES 2024

LG isn’t just launching new products for the market at CES 2024. It plans to showcase some experimental products at a dedicated exhibition space for LG Labs. One product that caught our eye is the LG DukeBox, a premium, retrofuturistic speaker meant to be a conversation piece in any home.

The LG DukeBox combines the “charm” of vacuum tube audio and cutting-edge transparent OLED panel technology. It features front-facing speakers at the bottom and a 360-degree speaker on top for an immersive audio experience.

Its design is reminiscent of the Lyric Speaker launched in 2017. You can customize what’s shown on the LG DukeBox’s transparent OLED panel, including album or song information, movies, or even a cozy fireplace.

But wait there’s more…

Aside from the LG DukeBox, LG Labs also has an improved version of Bon Voyage to showcase. LG describes it as a “customized living space designed to extend the life quality at home out into the nature.” It’s basically a high-tech camping trailer.

LG revamped it to be that size, with dimensions of 2-meter width, 3.8-meter depth, and 2.2-meter height. You can furnish it with different furniture and appliances, including a bed, electric stove, refrigerator, water purifier, LG’s shoe care products, and maybe even the new Styler.

The company also plans to show off the crowdfunded DUOBO. It’s a capsule coffee machine that extracts two different coffee capsules simultaneously. You might also see LG’s space pet CUBO, paring with this space exploration-inspired machine.

LG’s booth at CES 2024 will be at #16008 at the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
